About Stockholm Science City

 

Stockholm Science City Foundation has the mission to stimulate scientific teaching and research by the development of the city districts Hagastaden, Albano and Kräftriket. These new city districts will be filled with research and education activities; industrial R&D units to be established within these areas; creation of the conditions for collaboration between universiteis, and stimulation of an increasing number of collaboration projects between industry and academia. At present focus lies with the development of Hagastaden to a world-class life science cluster.

SSCi is commissioned by the three leading universiteties Karolinska Institutet, Kungliga Tekniska högskolan (KTH)  and Stockholm University, as well as Stockholm City Council, Solna City Council, Stockholm County Council and industry.
